It’s All So Funny Fella

It’s All So Funny Fella

It’s all so funny kid, remember? Chin up!
The gag is on you, me, and the rest,
That funny was the epiphany,
The crack between the heave,
The cheek in the glint in the eye in the shell,
Falling backwards into itself.
To untie the knot means the end of Mystery,
When that time-binders knot is all you got.
Keep trying to comb those squiggles into straights,
But remember this kid:
That great laugh comes when were both in on it,
I remember that you are me but in disguise.
Like two sock puppets controlled by one,
The eyes are but mirrors, reflecting into the void
That diamond-fractured reflection of The One.
It’s in the smile of marvel, the grin of glee,
It’s just all so funny, fella, she said,
Scrawled across the breeze.
